Today was the day I had been looking forward to for a long time - the new clinic was booked, the appointments were all scheduled and confirmed, my therapy bag was packed and I was excited to be working in a new setting. Even the sun was shining!
Arriving at the front door of the clinic I felt proud that within a year of starting my business I had now got the opportunity to branch out and reach out to other areas of Bath, allowing new clients to benefit from massage and reflexology treatments.
I walked down the stairs, switching the lights on and looking around, I immediately felt at home. It was a warm and inviting space and had I been a client arriving for a massage I know that I would have been very happy.
As I had arrived in plenty of time before my first clients appointment, I had time to familiarise myself with the clinic, prepare the couch, soak up the atmosphere and there was even time to enjoy a leisurely cup of tea sat in the reception area, just gathering my thoughts and enjoying a moment of peace.
Finally my first client arrived, one of my lovely regular ladies, who was really pleased to try the new venue. Over a cup of tea we discussed her general state of health and what she would like out of her forthcoming session and then it was time to begin the massage.
45 minutes later and the first clients appointment came to an end. The afternoon continued at a leisurely pace and then it was time to pack up and return home. I absolutely loved it and am looking forward to returning there for my clinic again next month. If you would like to come along and find out for yourself how a massage or reflexology session may benefit you then I currently have spaces at my next clinic on Thursday 3 March late afternoon/early evening. If you can't bear to wait a whole month then I do also have spaces available next week at my home based clinic. Both venues can easily be booked on line here >.
A very big thank you to both Maria and Emma at Nourish Nutritional Therapy Centre for giving me this fantastic opportunity!
